Assurance and taxation experience will continue to be mandatory for CA students seeking to practice public accounting in New Brunswick as a CA. Only CA Training Offices providing assurance and taxation hours, as defined under the current regulations, will be able to offer qualifying public accounting experience (i.e. CA firms and federal and provincial Offices of Auditors General). Students who qualify as a CA without having satisfied the assurance and taxation experience requirements relative to the practice of public accounting in New Brunswick as a CA, can achieve the required experience in these areas post qualification.
