- Financial Services Manager Regional Development Corporation is seeking an individual with a professional accounting designation to join our management team as Financial Services Manager. Regional Development Corporation is a crown corporation of the Province of New Brunswick with an annual budget of $160 million. The corporation is responsible for regional and community development initiatives and administers federal-provincial programs through its Special Operating Agency. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management team, participating in formulating corporate policy, establishing and monitoring priorities and evaluating corporate staffing requirements. The Financial Services Manager has the lead responsibility for the preparation of regular accounting and financial reports, preparation of the annual financial statements, preparation and monitoring of the annual capital and ordinary budgets of the corporation, including the Special Operating Agency. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree as well as a professional accounting designation and a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience. They must possess excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Sage Accpac, and Oracle Financials is considered an asset. Written and spoken competence in English is required. The successful candidate must possess excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. A demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member is essential. Salary: $2,241 to 2,983 biweekly, depending on qualifications.
