The Commissioner of Municipal Affairs, pursuant to Section 8 of the Control of Municipalities Act has released the revised Municipal Financial Reporting Manual applicable to municipalities; rural communities; utilities; commissions; boards; associations; corporations and other entities to which the applicable legislation specifically applies or that are owned and/or controlled by municipalities.
