Professional Liability Insurance - REMINDER Effective January 1, 2008, the professional liability insurance bylaw increases the minimum level of insurance coverage for public practitioners from $250,000 to $1,000,000. The bylaw does not provide any exemptions from this mandatory coverage for part-time practitioners. If your policy is up for renewal AFTER January 1, 2008, we strongly urge you to increase your limit with your insurance provider in order to be in compliance with this bylaw.
