Practice Inspection
Currently, we have approximately 90 full time offices in New Brunswick which are subject to inspection. While maintaining an education thrust, the mandate of this program is to safeguard the public interest by ensuring all offices are maintaining the minimum standards (CICA Handbook) and adhering to the Rules of Professional Conduct. Specialization
The National Specialization Council (NSC) was established as a result of the recommendations of the Vision Task Force and the membership's demand for specialist programs. It's mandate is to contribute to the achievement of our profession's Mission and Vision by formalizing and regulating specialist certification and accreditation on behalf of the CICA Board of Directors and the members. The NSC believes that carefully chosen and developed specialist certification programs offer exciting, high-value career options for CAs.
