Specialization
The National Specialization Council (NSC) was established as a
result of the recommendations of the Vision Task Force and the
membership's demand for specialist programs. It's mandate is to
contribute to the achievement of our profession's Mission and
Vision by formalizing and regulating specialist certification
and accreditation on behalf of the CICA Board of Directors and
the members. The NSC believes that carefully chosen and developed
specialist certification programs offer exciting, high-value career
options for CAs. For more information on Specialization designations,
please see Specialization
on the CICA Web Page.
